I originally found this Vegreen snail mucin serum alternative over a year ago, and it has quickly become one of my favorite K beauty products and staples. I have spoken a little bit about being really stressed recently, and it always shows up on my skin. Sometimes in the form of breakouts, but quite often in the form of heavy damage to skin barrier. Meaning excess redness, irritation, and overall blotchy and dehydrated skin.
When I put this back in my routine, when returning from my trip to Korea, I was shocked at not only how my skin loves the formula, but how quickly it helps me rebalance and compensate for some of the stress I have been going through. My skin is visibly more even, more hydrated, and calmer overall. Ceramides, beta glucans, or whatever else is in the product that is doing the work, really is phenomenal. And I love that this one is cruelty-free and doesn’t break me out. If you are dehydrated, stressed, or just have uneven skin, I would highly recommend giving this serum a try. If you want something more lightweight, then you can move to the essence.
