More effective weight control and increased energy are usually the result of going vegan.
These health benefits of being vegan also come along with benefits to animals because the factory farming industry is extremely brutal and if more people are vegan there is far less cruelty because not as many animals are required to feed people.
The vegan diet is also much better for the environment as huge amounts of water are used in farming animals for food.
Starving people in third world countries would also benefit if more people practised a vegan diet as most of the world’s farming land is used to grow grain to feed the animals which are eaten.
It would be far more economical to simply grow the grain to feed people.
Resistance to antibiotics is also becoming a huge worldwide problem and much of this is due to the high usage of antibiotics in factory farming.
So, really there is little against converting to a vegan diet. The health benefits of being vegan are indisputable.
It is a win-win-win situation – for its adherents, for animals and for the environment.
