RECIPE:
1 cup of beans
2 tablespoons flour
1 onion
2 tablespoons oil
salt
3 bay leaves
3 tsp parsley
3 tsp paprika powder
Cook the beans in water with salt and bay leaf. Meanwhile, I chop the onion and start frying it in oil. When red I pour about 1 dl of water over it and add the spices. I cook it a bit so that there is some juice left on it but I turn the stove underneath. Meanwhile, when the beans are softened, I mix the flour in a bowl with about 1 dl of water and pour it over the beans. I turn off the heat underneath and leave it on until it thickens. If too thick, dilute with water. Serve the beans with the fried onions. You can make it with lentils, peas, chickpeas, whatever you like. Enjoy!
