Do you want to add more protein to your diet?
From my personal experience one of the easiest ways to increase your protein intake is through smoothies. Therefore, I am going to give you 5 items to add to your smoothies that will add more protein.
🌱 Plant Based Protein Powder (around 20-30 grams/ scoop): there are so many brands/flavours that are available, find one that you like best.
🥛 Plant Based Milk: there are a few on the market that have a higher protein amount like soy milk.
🌿 Hemp Seeds (10 grams/ 3 TBSP): hemp seeds are the easiest to add to smoothies because I personally do not taste or notice them.
🧈 Nut butter (7 grams/ 2 TBSP): adding nut butter may bring up the calories of the smoothie but that is because its full of protein and monounsaturated fats the “healthy fats.” Plus they are all super tasty!
🌿 Chia Seeds (5 grams/ 2 TBSP): Just like hemp seeds, chia seeds are also super easy to hide in your smoothies. Plus chia seeds also have many other health benefits.
