Seedrs, the crowdfunding platform has agreed partnership terms with plant-based investment marketplace, Vevolution. The aim of this collaboration is to help give a boost to early-stage vegan and plant-based startups.
Through this collaboration, plant-based businesses will have open access to Vevolution’s network of investors. In addition, the investment community behind Seedrs will be the perfect place for crowdfunders to seek out a more varied investment base.
Success for plant-based startups
We’ve brought regular news of late regarding Seedrs. Initially back in March we found out that three plant-based startups used Seedrs network had become over-funded. And subsequently, another favourite of ours, One Planet Pizza, raised over £150,000 through Seedrs investors to help expand the business.
But there are many tales of success from this platform. And of course, we can’t forget that it’s not long since Seedrs ran successful campaigns for Allplants, raising £4.5m, £600,000 for The Vegan Kind and £4.4m for THIS.
Vevolution is also no stranger to success, having facilitated partial or full funding in 25 plant-based startups, including MeliBio and Evo Foods.
Perfect partnership
